Sanjay Gupta (born December 7, 1966) is an Indian comic book writer, editor, and the president of rajComics]]. He is famous for establishing the superhero comics genre in India and in Hindi language. Sanjay Gupta and Anupam Sinha have created the most famous comic character Super Commando Dhruva who has no super power like American character Batman.

He is one of the key people of Raj Comics along with his brothers Manish Gupta and Manoj Gupta. He is most notably known for the creation of characters Nagraj,^[1] Doga,^[2] Bhokal, Yoddha etc.

Trivia

He communicates with Raj comics fans through his columns "Green Pages" and "Star Pages".
He is often credited along with Anupam Sinha-Jolly Sinha to be the reviver of comics Industry in India. He is now taking more ambitious projects like the live action film of Doga being produced by Sony International and directed by Anurag Kashyap starring Kunal Kapoor of Rang de Basanti fame.
